This Privacy Policy explains how Referable ("Referable," "we," "us," or "our"), a product of Bryant Digital, handles personal information when you use the Referable mobile app and related services (the "Service"). We've written it to match what the app actually does. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
Referable is operated by Bryant Digital. Referable is an invite-only, peer-to-peer referral platform that lets customers of partner home-service companies refer friends and receive cash rewards. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, you can reach us at privacy@getreferable.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect only the information needed to run referrals and pay you. Depending on how you use the Service, this includes:
Account & profile information
Identifiers — your name, email address and phone number, provided when you accept an invitation and create your account.
Profile & credentials — your password (stored encrypted) and any optional profile details you add, such as a photo or the partner company you are associated with.
Referral information
Prospect details — the name and contact details of the friends you choose to refer to a partner company.
Referral media — photos, notes and any other content you attach when submitting a referral.
Status & rewards — the progress of each referral (submitted, accepted, won) and the reward associated with it.
Payment information
Payout details — the payout information you provide to our payment processor, Stripe, so we can send your rewards. Full bank and card numbers are handled directly by Stripe and are never stored on Referable's servers.
Device & usage information
Device data — device model, operating system, app version and a push token used to deliver notifications.
Usage & analytics — how you interact with the app, such as screens viewed and features used, collected to help us improve the Service.
Log data — technical details such as IP address and timestamps automatically recorded when you use the Service.
Permissions you control
Contacts — if you allow it, access to your contacts makes it easier to choose friends to refer. We only use the contacts you select.
Camera, photos & notifications — camera and photo access lets you attach images to a referral; notification access lets us update you about referrals and rewards. You can change or revoke these anytime in your device settings.
3. How and why we use your data
Operate referrals — to create and manage your account and to process the referrals you submit to partner companies.
Pay your rewards — to calculate and deliver your cash rewards through our payment processor.
Communicate with you — to send transactional emails and push notifications about your referrals, rewards and account activity.
Improve the Service — to understand how the app is used and to develop, test and improve features through product analytics.
Security & fraud prevention — to protect your account, verify payouts, and detect, prevent and investigate fraud or abuse.
Provide support — to respond to your enquiries and resolve issues you report to us.
Legal & compliance — to meet our legal, tax and regulatory obligations and to enforce our Terms.
4. Sharing & third-party services
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make Referable work, and only as needed:
Partner companies — the company that invited you receives the referrals you submit to them, including the prospect details and referral status, so they can review and pay out rewards.
Stripe — payment processing and payouts via Stripe Connect.
Amazon Web Services (S3) — secure storage of media such as referral photos.
SendGrid — delivery of transactional emails.
OneSignal — delivery of push notifications.
PostHog — product analytics to understand and improve usage.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and the Service.
5. Storage & security
We take the security of your data seriously. Personal information is encrypted at rest using AES-256, and all data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Payment webhooks are cryptographically signed and verified, and access to data is restricted through role-based controls enforced on our servers.
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
6. Your rights & choices
Access & correction — you can view and update your profile information in the app at any time.
Account deletion — you can delete your account and associated data directly in the app under Profile & Settings, or by emailing us.

Referable is not intended for or directed to children. The Service is available only to users 18 years of age or older, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
